Moved to new UK Hosting Provider

I have finally moved from my US hosting company Lunarpages to EVO Hosting in the UK.

The service so far has been great and the performance iimprovement is really impressive. Average ping times has reduced from 160.00ms to 21.00ms!

Plus 2 years hosting for only £114. I’ll post some more feedback once I have used more of their services.

So I’m doing some more charity and this time I’ll look ridiculous at the same time. I know some of you are going to say: A. You always look ridiculous or B. You have a full beard, how is a moustache going to be difficult.

Here’s the deal: All the money raised goes to The Prostate Cancer Charity (TPCC) here in the UK.

The rules are:

Movember 1st – Clean shaven
There is to be no joining of the Mo to side burns – That’s a beard.
There is to be no joining of the handlebars – That’s a goatee.
A small complimentary growth under the bottom lip is allowed (aka a tickler).

What a amazing video. The guy who published it was asked to remove it by the guy climbing because he was worried about any negative feedback from his company or clients. Read from the post with the image. TheOLE.org. They have now decided to stop trying to remove the video as it out there.

Organising a large poker event

How the hell do we get players to commit?

Ok, so it’s not a very large poker tournament we’re organising but 100 people seems like a lot to me.

We have been tweeting, emailing, asking and calling (well not to much of that one). Should we be approaching this like an election campaign?

I’m stumped. We’ve got two weeks until the event and we have to find the players from somewhere…
