New flat, new furniture and a new mac keyboard
It’s be a while since my last post, just like any wannabe blogger. However there is a reasonably plausible excuse for this. I have moved into a new flat in Kentish Town. The new place is great and we have a roof-top terrace! We have already had the house warming party which turned out to be a great night.
Anyhow, seeing as my room was unfurnished I have been frantically searching for a decent wardrobe and desk. Believe it or not it is quite a mission considering I can’t take time off work to have them delivered and I have no van of my own. I managed to drag a flat pack wardrobe upto the flat from a local furniture shop. The desk I found on Ebay was delivered to work and then I threw it in a cab and brought it back. Funnily enough the desk was from Argos, where I had tried ordering a desk from but they were always out of stock.
I went down to the Apple store today and got a nice addition to the desk. A brand new Apple keyboard. I have to say it’s great. The return key is a little small and I can’t seem to get some of the function keys to work as I would like but neither of these points annoy me that much.
I’ve just got back from a nice cycle up through Hampstead Heath and down through Highgate / Holloway. I’m feeling pretty good now. Then tomorrow is the second stage of the Capital Ring walk (check out the facebook group), should be fun. If you would like to join us sign-up and we’ll meet you at Charring Cross at 11am.
Stay tuned!
