Customised Home Pages
Some of you will have tried Google’s Personalized Home Page, this is quite good but is a little limited. Jeff showed me a custom home page site that he uses a while ago but I forgot to ask him the name of it. Tonight I found it, Netvibes.
This service is really good, you can pull all your email into the page, I have my totallyrich, gmail and work email all on one screen. Some other cool stuff it does is bring all your favorite RSS feeds into one place. This is really useful, and if you are using this as your browsers home page you can see all your favorite things straight away.
I have added: Local weather, a To-do list, a MySpace feed and some others. I’ll let you go off and find out the other features on your own.
Happy browsing!
